A clearer picture.

Find your public IP and the network behind it. Useful for troubleshooting, remote access and understanding how your connection appears online.

Your privacy matters. This tool does not save your IP or results to a database, create a lookup history or add tracking cookies. Cloudflare processes your IP to deliver the site and identify your connection. Hosting providers may process operational logs under their own policies. Read our privacy policy.

The network name identifies the organisation behind the IP, which may differ from your retail internet provider. A VPN, proxy or corporate gateway may show its own address and network. Country is approximate, not your precise location.

Public is not local.

This is the address seen outside your network, not your device's private Wi-Fi or LAN address. Several devices can share the same public IP.

One view, not every address.

The result shows the IPv4 or IPv6 address used for this request. It does not prove that the other protocol is unavailable, or test whether a VPN is leak-free.

Share only when needed.

Use Hide IP before taking a screenshot. Copy the address only when you need it for trusted support or network configuration.

Common questions

Is this my device’s local IP address?

No. A public IP is the address seen outside your network. Devices behind a router may share that address while each has a different private, local IP.

Why does the provider look different?

A VPN, proxy, mobile carrier or upstream network can change which network is visible. The detected provider is not always the company named on your internet bill.
